Hi everyone, my name is Heather. I am a veterinary assistant with a passion for helping animals. I have been in this field for 5 years now and counting.

 

I studied to receive my Veterinary Technician certificate at the Santa Rosa Junior College. It was a wonderfully rigorous curriculum, with one of the top rated programs for veterinary technicians in California. The next step is sitting for the upcoming board exams to become an RVT. I am also Fear Free Pets certified which takes a different approach to veterinary medicine. Fear Free includes using little to no restraint, using incentives such as extra enticing treats and pheromones, etc. All of which creates a more positive visit for you and your pet. 

 

Ever since working at different veterinary clinics/hospitals I've had a dream to offer my own services. After seeing how many clients were unable to get into the vet for routine care, I created my small business of bringing services right to your home! House visits are a much more personable experience and allow close relationships to be formed with my clients and patients. It removes the stress for you of getting ready for the trip to the vet, corralling pets into cages, and overall creating anxiety for you and your pet.
